M. Lie Also Hopeful Of Future
MEXICO CITY, January 12. The Secretary-General of the United Nations, M. Lie, has declared here: "I am tirmly convinced that no nation, or group of" nations, seriously contemplates another conflict to-day. All I've seen, and all I've heard, indicates that all ngtions are concentrating on elfects towards reconstruction." He urged common insistence on agreement hetween the great Powei's towards world peace. If that came about, no Government, great or small, would contemplate war.
