RELPH — HILL

St. Michael's Church, Rotorua, was the scene of the wedding* on Thursday between Betty Loraine, only child of Mrs. M. E. Hill, Amohau St., Rotorua and Grigg Herbert, third son of Mr. and' Mrs. E. A. Relph, Clayton Road, Rotorua. The Rev. T. Wanders officiated and Nrptial Mass was celebrated. Miss C. 'Xorris was the organist. The bride, who entered the Church with her grandfather, Mr. J. ChapiB an, wore a beautifully trained gown of oyster satin, with a sweetheart neckline, the hodice and true-lovers' knot on the train, were embroidered with irridescent heads. Her viel was held to her head with a spray of ! oranga blossom and her shovver 1 bouquet vvas fashioned of roses, glad- ; iuli an l Christmas lilies. ' The bridesmaids were Miss Kathlccn Piper, a friend of the bride j who wore a low-vvaisted frock of blue, | with a bouquet of pink calla lilies, : carnations and blue dclphiniums, while i Miss Evica Relph, the bridegroom's ' sister, wore a frock of dusky pink > eat on similar lir.es, with a bouquet of ])i :k and cold roses. The flowergirl, Miss Diane Relph, niece of the bridegrooin, wore a maize-colourea frock. Their hcad-dresses were halos in v'hich were entwined flowers of pink blue and maize. The groom was attended by his brothers, Mi'.'A. C. Relph, as best raan, and Mr. J. E. Relph, as groomsman. As the bride left the ^i.iureh, she vvas handed a v hite satin horseshoe by Peter Relph. At the reception, which vvas held at the Regent ijupper rooms, Mrs. M. E. Hill, wearing a navy and blue ! s.:it and navy accessories, received her guests, assisted 'by Mrs. E. A. Relph, who wore a pink frock, with black accessories. -After the reception, the couple left for the South Island, Mrs. G. H. Relph wearing a powder-blue suit, embroidered with white and darker blue accessories.
