SYDNEY, Jan. I). The British atomic expert, Professor Oliphant, now visiting Australia, has declared that if the same energy is devoted to the development of the peaceful use of atomic po-wer as had already been given to its military use, atomic stations can be operating in five years. He thought it was more likely to be ten or fifteen years. He said that there was no atomic seeret, only technolcgical difficulties for some countries. Australia should concentrate on the discovery and. development of raw materials.
