Then he disappeared. | This little comedy drew attention , fco the "Bisehhower for President" i ;alk, which grew more insistent dur- ' ing the wqek, even though people close to Eisenhower declared that the general had-no Presidential ambitfons. But Eisenhower continued to fulfil many public engagements quite unrelated to his Army duties. He continued to talk at ' public gatherings m many national problems besides defence.
