Figiures iss'ued by the Auckland ■ Herd Lmprovement Association for ■ November show that in. the Rotorua- ! Ngongotaha gi-oup, 26 herds totalling iI216 cows yielded an average of r 752 milk Ibs. testing 4:69 and 35 fat lbs., th|e 'highest herd average ' being 44 fat lbs. i 'In the Ngakuru-Guthrie group, 25 : herds of 1514 cows pmduced an av- ! erage of 713 milk lbs. testing 4.34, J and 31 fat lbs., the highest fat average being 38, from three herds. j Thirty-seven herds, totalling 2219 cows, produeed 77 milk lbs., testing | 4.81 and 37 fat lbs. in the Putaruru ! group, where tbe highest average fat ; return was 51 lbs. from 15 cows. i In the Tokoroa group, 42 herds ! embracing 2460 cows produeed 775 1 milk lbs., testing 4.63 a(pd 36 fat lbs., wihile the highest average was I 49 fat lbs. from 42 cows.
