Wellington In Sight Of Outright Win WELLINGTON, last night. Wellington appears within sight of an outright win in the Plunket Shield match against Canterbury. Requiring 358 runs in the second innings, Canterbury lost seven wiekets for 214 with one day still left to play. The day was a day of chance, especially for Canterbury. Excellent bowling by Seott and Parks, for Wellington, caused five wiekets to fall for the addition of only 48 runs. Dempsey reached a cenbury to offset this.
