TANKER NUCULA TO BE SCRAPPED

Long Service On Dominion Naval Station AUCKLAND, Last Night. After being reprieved from the scrap heap for war service, the veteran Admiralty tanlcer Nucula has reached the final stage of her long service in the Royal Navy. The old ship is to be handed to the W.A.R.B. for disposal and will. probably end her days in a ship-breaker's yard. She hao oeen longer service on the N«w Zealand station than any other ship, except the P'hilomel. For many years she brought fuel from America for the Diomede, Veronica, and the Leith class ships.
