Central Food Office In Stuttgart

LONDON, January 3. The central office for food and agriculture in the British zone of Germany is to be transferred from Hamburg to Stuttgart, in the American zone, where there will be a joint food office. Direetives for both zones will he put into force from Stuttgart, but will -be drawn up in Berlin. The Council -of State in the American zone, a German body consisting of representatives of political parties and trade unions, wants to send foo'd from the Amex-ican zone to the British zone. It is concerned about the fall in coal production and proposes that the miners in the Ruhr should get the same ration as those in the American zone.
