A member cf the staff of the Australian Information Service attended r. missionary service in a New York church, at which the priest appealed l'or a generous collection for missions. Eniphasising the hardships that missionaries encounter, the priest said: "They don't live amid the comiorts cf the world 's greatest c.ity. They work among the backward peoples of Asia, the savages of Africa, and the Anzacs of Australia."
