Number Plates Changed The fact that he liad found the number plates of his motor car substituted for others," which were loosely attached to the Vehiele, was reported to the Rotorua police on Sunday by Mr. L. Army Motor-Cycles Criticism of the sanctioning -by the Army Department of the issue of warrants of fitness for Army motorcycles being sold to the public when the vehicles do> not comply-with the regulations, was voiced by the Napier borough traffic inspector, Mr. A. M. Oliver, Mr. Oliver said that large numbers of these motor-eycles were being sold to young men, who were nnaware that they were breaking the traffic regulations by riding the cyeles in their present condition. "It appears that warrants of fitness for these cycles are being issued indiscriminately by the Army authorities ea* by some finn for the department," he said.
