WEATHER MARS FANCY DRESS PARADE
Three Children Share Chief Honours An overcast sky and a rather piercing wind somewhat marred the enjoyment of both the children and spectators at the children's fancy dress parade, held on the lake'front concert stage on Saturday afternoon. Possibly because of these conditions the entries were below those of previous years, only about 50 children taking part. The standard of costumes, however, had not fallen, and the applause that all competitors received when they mounted the stage to 'be judged, was entirely deserved. Mesdames G. Myers and G. Thompson and Miss Jean Pierce were the jiodges, and Mr. N. F". McMillan was compere of the parade.
