WINNER OF LITERARY PRIZE OF £2000

The honour of winning* first prize •in a literary competition, organised by the Siynney Morning Herald, has gone to Miss Rju,th Park (Miss Darcy Niland) formerly of Auckland. The competition, which was for an Australian novel, earries a prize of £2000, the prizes as >a whole being* the largest ever offered in a competition in Australia.
