FRENCH PREMIER AND AMBASSADOR CONFER
PARIS, Dec. 26. The French Prime Minister, M. Leon Blum, has had a long taljc with the British Ambassador, Mr. Duff Cooper, probably on the question of 'the Saar where the French have set 'up a customs authority. It is stated ' that this action is not intended to influence the foreign minister's de- ^ cision. Mr. Cooper is said to have told M. Blum than any move in the Saar. which looked like a new step in French policy may he taken badly xby public opinion abroad.
