LAST OF THREE ESCAPED GUNMEN RECAPTURED

BRISBANE, December 26. ':The last of the three escapees from the Boggo Road gaol, Victor John Travis, aged 20, gunman and housebreaker, was recaptured at Redbank military camp, where he was first ncrticed' behaving in a suspicious manner. He was taken into custody by two soldiers who were unaware of his identity. While being driven in a jeep to a police station he made two attempts to escape, but was recaptured and held at bayonet point.
