OLD BOYS WIN GAME ON FIRST INNINGS
Following a first innings score by 01d. Boys of 137 all out, and its own 1 tally at the eud of play on the previpus Saturday oi* 32 runs for six wic.kets, Kahukura continued its innings on Saturday last and made 119 runs when ihe last wicket fell. J. I aurcnce l-a+ted well, compiling 47 runs, and Douglas made 23. Old Boys then went in, and at stumps had made 88 runs for one wicket, thus winning the gaine on the first innings. The second innings seore is, however, a remarkably good one as five of the team's best players i who had helped amass its first strilce | t otal were taking part at Tauranga in the Bay of Ple.nty trials over the week-end.
