CLOSE FINISHES AT ATHLETIC MEETING

..... There was a fair attendance at the Pererika Street Reserve last night when the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and 'Cycling 'Club held another of its trade meetings. Dite to the pcndina; holidays, the fields were not as large as usual, but the lack of numbers was well compensated for hy the close iinishes. For the 10'0 yards the judges were hard put to separate the three placed i umers, and in the half-mile there ; was another close tussle, this time I between C. Dohnt and J.
