UNDILUTED MARXISM IN HISTORY STUDIES
LUNDON, Dec. 20. •Two nxillion school children in the Russian zone of Germany have been prescribed a diet of undiluted Marxism in history studies, says the Associated Press Bexdin correspondent. Set directives given primary grade teachers declare* that Marx's and Engel's philosophy and its development iix the Soviet Union are the "culmination of progressive denxocracy." ' ^ They x*efer to the Fix*st Wox*ld War as the "First Imperialistie. World War" and ' describe the last war as "a fight against Fascism." As a result of the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union, the directors say, the Marx-Engels "Ccmmunlst xnanifesto" must he followed and interpreted as the basis for Marxist instruction.
