Murders of Negroes:
A Federal
Grand Jiury at Athen (Georgia), which has been investigating the lynching of four negroes in the Monroe county on . July 25, has announced that it was unableUo establish the identity of the murderers. The jury questioned about 100 witnesses and considered evidence obtained by F.B.I. agents who interviefved nearly 3000 people. The lynching oecurred on a lonely road when 2'0 anen stopped a white farmer's car, dragged therefrom two negroes and their wives, Med them to a tree and r*3died them with bullets.
