CHILDREN ENTERTAINED BY ROTORUA R.S.A.
Over 100 children of returned servicemen enjoyed themselves immensely on Thui'sday afternoon as guests of the Rotorua R.S.A. at a movie show in the Concert £hamber and tea in the R.S.A. Social Hall. For over an hour the children whooped and eheered as 16 m.m. films, exhibited by Mr. G. " Parker, Y.M.C.A. representative at the Soldiers' Convalescent Hogpital, were flashed on the screen. Dancing* items were also given by Josephine de Latour, Patrieia Edv/ards and Judith Bould. After the show they rushed across "the road to the Social Hall and seated themselves at tables loaded with cakes, strawberries, cherries, oranges, ice cream, soft drinks and many other Christmas delicacies.
