A British- police sergeant was shot dead at Jaffa in a duel with an Arab gunman who was . escaping after allegedly lcilling an Arab land broker, says Reuter's Jerusalem correspondent. ' • • The British United Press says a Jew was killed by a stray bullet dtiring confusion after the explosion of a "pamphlet bomb" in Jerusalem.
