DEBATE CONTINUES ON INDIA'S AFFAIRS

The Indian Coiistituent Assemhly has to-day continued its debate on Mr. Nehru's resolution that Iiulia should be proelaimed an independent republic, but there are signs that a decision on the resolution rnay be postponed as neither the Moslem League nor the Indian States are represented in the Assemhly. Correspondents say that the feeling is that it would be a mistake to rush the resolution at this stage. They point out that its adoption immediately would make it more difficult to induce the Moslems to join the Assemhly. Bombay police opened fire to hreak up a disorderly crowd last night, and two people were injured.
