Gas rationing will cause a bread shortage in Sydney on Monday, as bread factories depend on gas. Ten metal plants and a biscuit factory will close on Monday. A conference between the National Gas Association and the Australasian Councii of Trade Unions broke down in Melbourne. In Adelaide, where the gas strike is in its second week, consumers have been restricted to one hour's consumption a day, but . the emergeney supply collapsed last night, and has been discontinued. The employees at the Bunnerong Powerhouse are to stop work on Monday to discuss giievances which may lead to a strike and loss -of electric power.
