Wedding Bells
RYAN— REED. i A' wedding of interest to* a wide circle of friends at Mamaku, Ngongotaha and Rotorua to'ok place at Wellington when Joan Ormond Reed, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reed, of Wellington, formerly of Rotorua and Mamaku, was married to Terry Ryan, of Wellington. The bride, who entered the church with her father, looked charming in a gown of white cloque, her embroidered veil 'being held :by a topknot of orange ' blossom. .She carried a shqwer bouquet of roses and orange blossom. In attendance as bridesmaid was her sister Valmai, who was attractively gowned in v/ine panne velvet. A bouque/; of roses to tone was carried and a matching floral spray was worn in her hair. At the reception which was afterwards held at the Hotel St. George, the bride's mother received her guests wearing a navy ensemble with a shoulder spray or orchids. Mrs. George Elkington, Ng"ongotaha, aunt of the bride, wore a navy ' two-piece suit and shoulder spray bf • i stock. The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Ryan will be in Auckland, where the bridegroom is to continue his law studies.
