LONDON, December 13. London was paralysed ia-st night by the thic-kest fog in living memory. The largest traffic jam in the eity's history occurred in central and western London. Many people abandoned their cars in the streets. Some 4000- people who attended a hockey match were unable to get home, and many spent the night in the stadium.
