One stu-
dent was killed m fighting witn ponce during an anti-Government denionstration by students of the Azhar Theological- College, Assiut, Uppei Egypt, says Reuter's Caori correspondent. Severil students in possession of knives and revolyers were arrested. Police Helmets May Go: Abolition of the helmet, the most charaeteristic part of the London policeman's uniform, may be recommended by the Police Council considering reform of police clothing, says the EveningStandard. Already changes have been made in the provinces and in Somerset substituting caps for helmets. In Wiltshire an open-neck tunic with collaf and tie a^d flat cap were demonstrated and met with approval.
