GIRL PILOT'S CRASH
NARROWLY ESCAPED DEATH BY HER REMARKABLE SKILL. Goulburn, Saturday. ; Miss Mary Bradford, a young pilot, ; had a. nerve-packing experience alt j Goulburn this afternoon, when her 'plane crashed in a paddock a mile from the aerodrome. She escaped practically unhurt. She was about 1000 feet up when the machine got into difficulties. With remarkable skill she brought it down within a short distance of the earth, but was unable to prevent a severe crash. One wing smashed against the ground, and the machine turned. over, being almost wrecked. ! Rescuers found Miss Bradford was injured ahout the head, and was suffering from the efrects of shock. She i was brought to Sydney by another ; 'plane and treated at Sydney Hospi- 1 tal paradise. ;
