blue bath carnival LARGE ATTENDANCE AT LAST EVENING'S MEETING COLD WEATHER CONDITIONS Despite the cold weather conditions a large attendance at the Blue Baths was kept interested last evening by a good display of swimming events held under the auspices of the Rotorua Amateur Swimming Club. In addition to members of the Rotorua and Ohinemutu Clubs competitors from the Waitemata, Cambridge, Matamata and Auckland clubs were engaged and in all the events judicious handicapping resulted in some fine finishes. Good organisation by thp club officials enabled the programme to be decided with a minimum of delay, while diving events and a demonstration of ladies' water polo added variety to the meetings Results : — • Boys' Handicap, 33 l-3yds (under 14). — First Heat : P.
