SHOULD THEY -BE ABLE TO TAKE THEM ON TOUR? BRADMAN'S SUGGESTION
-By Telegraph— Copyright).
(Rec. Dec. 28, 5.5 p.m.) London, Dec. 28. The Daily Telegraph, in a leader entitled "Contracting Out of Wfves" says: "That a wife is not cricket seems a scandalous proposition yet we acquit the Board of Control of any misogamy in contemplating the enforcement of the old rule regarding wives. Their principle is nct that a man can serve two masters; the trouble is now beeause' Bradman is thought, believed or rumoured to deny the power of any Board of Control over his matrimonial affairs. Though Mrs. Bradman has been married a year and a lialf Australia whispers that Bradman is not likely to come to England without her. In face of such devotion, of what use is the sacrifice of the other hero, O'Reilly, who is reconeiled at the thought of leaving his wife behind. We can only hope that any possible tragedies will be averted."
