FRANCE’S DECISION
Paris, Dec. 28. The Cabinet has approved of an Aide Memoire being despatched to Germany informing Herr Hitler that France is prepared to continue the disarmament conversations, but the organisation of general security by the reduction of armaments must be carried out within the framework of the League. This is tantamount to the rejection of Hitler's proposal for direct negotiations.
