maSs funeral cereMony to be of suve^le character . president to attend

(Rec. Deb. 27.) Paris, Dec. 26. The President and members of the Governmeir.it will atitend the funeral service to the Lagny victims on Wednesday. The great hall of the station will be converted into a chapel, being difeped in blaek and silver, with Uih.e catafalaque on the dais in. the centre. The cepemony -will be of the miost simple charaeter. The victims include an Anxerican, and several citizens of Cehtral Europe. The rest are all French. The driver -and fireman will be chargsd with dashing in ia. thick fog at over 60 miles an hour into a gtationary train wfhich properly obeyed the signals which were plainly at danger.
