GERMAN SEAMAN BOUND OVER TO KEEP PEACE

Auckland, Saturday. Six months ago a German seaman Otto Krausbaar (26), was. imprisoned because of his persistent and unwelcome. attention to a young woman, This morning. 'he appeared at the poliee court charged with assaulting the same young woman and saying: "I'll make a proper .job of you this time!" and with beh'aying in a threatening manner. The young women said accused who had been released from prison two days ago, came straight to her roon? and knocked at her window. Counsel for accused: ''You were only playdng with him," and he thought you were serious." "No," replied the witness, "I don't want him to g.o back to gaol; all I want Him tq do is to leave me'alope." Counsel assured th.e magistrate that agcused saw plainly now she did nof w^hh, him, and b.e would not worry ;her again, Accused ;w^s ordered to fjnd a supety of £50, fo keep the peace.
