Seattle, Deeember 22. The lowlands of this State to-night faced most oritical dangers as the re/sult of floods, which have mpnaced the locality for a week. Three deaths are reported in the past 24 hours, and it is feared that others have been drowned. Approximately 5000 have been rendered homeless, while millions of doll^irs' worth of property have, been damaged Virtually all highways are blocked and dozens of small communities are completely isolated. Tacomu, a city of 125,000 persons is expected hourly to be marooned. Aberdeen, with a population of 22,000, is inundated. The people are fearful of a typhoid epidemic. Meanwhile, a steady downpour of rain continues, with more f orecast for to-morrow. Many earth slides are ; harassing communities at the base of mountains.
