waitaki freezing works have profitable year ■Oamaru, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the Waitaki Farmers' Freezing Company, yesterday, the chairman, Mr. O. E. Austin, in his address, said the profit, after deducting depreciation and jncome tax, amounted to £4781, enabling the company to pay a dividend of 3 per cent, and a bonus of 2 per cent, a total of 5 per cent, with £305 carried forward. Comparison of the present output with that of ten years ago showed that it had doubled, the total being 192,470 tons iri 1932, as against 388,419 tons for the past year, The chain system enabled the works to handle a larger daily kjlling. -V.
