SUNSHINE AGAIN
RENATE MULLER IN SOME NEW1 SONG HITS. COMING TO MAJESTIC. Some of the most tuneful numbers yet heard in talking films are sung in the sparlding new Gainsborough picture, "Marry Me," which comes to the Majestic Theatre on M-'onday, December 18, and those who recall the di- . verting picture, "Sunshine Susie," | will learn with pl-easure that they are sung by its captivating star, Renate Muller. ! The song "So, .Wlill Somebody, Somebody Marry Me," is novel m .th,e j extreme, and delivered by various members of th-e cast in delightful and engagiqg circumstances. Another catchy tune- is "Early Birds," sung by the leading players l as they rise from their beds in the opening sequences of the picture-. "A Little Sunshine," sunig by RenMuller when sh-s sits in a. 'bus, eventually enticing all the sonr-looking oecupants to join in- the chorus, is
very reminiscent of that ever popular number, "To-day I Feel so Happy." . Jan Hunter, Maurice Evans, and Ch'arles Hawtrey assist Miss Muller in another haunting number, "Ypu'r© So Wonderful'to Me," which thpy sing after she has bidden them good-night, having put into exquisite order their untidy, happy-go-lucky flat. Each song is presented in a novel and effective manner, undoubtedly enhancing the attractiveness of the tunes. / Although the music is such an attractivp feature of "Marry Me," the picture is ai-so notable for its humour and for a brilliant cast of star artists which includes George Robey, Harry ! Green and Billy Carjdl. ' .One of the finest pictures that has yet emanated from the British stu- • dios, "Marry Me" is a film thiat should not be missed.
