GIRL WHO FINDS ROMANCE IN A NIGHT CLUB. "NIGHT AFTER NIGHT." "Night after Night," a Paramount picture, opens at the Majestic Theatre on Thursday, December 21. George Raft, s-ensational young star, who won his first laurels i-n minor roles in "Scarface," "The Sporting Widow," .and "Dancers in the Dark," has the leading male role — and, incidentally, the first leading role- of his movie career. Constance Cummings, Wynne Gibson, Mae. West and Alison Skipworth have other leading roles. The film is set in a New York night club — a luxurious old mansion, which has been converted into an o^sis for the thirsty. Raft is proprietor of the place.
Miss Cummings, a luscious society bud, who was born in the house in its better days, is drawn back to it tim-e after time by a deep yeaming for the scene of her childhood. Her frequent visits bring her in contact wtih Raft and a queer romance, which is brought to a startling climax by a series of unusual events, develo-ps between the two.
