-By Telegraph — Copyrlght).
(Rec. 7 p.m.) London, Dec. 13. The Daily Telegraph says tbat the Minister of Agriculture, Major W. E. Elliott, is consulting Dominion Governments regarding the dumping of Dominion products as a breach of Ottawa agi-eements of which British agriculturalists are complaining. Major Elliott revealed tbe fact tbat these negotiations were afoot to a private meeting of the Conservative Agricultural Committee in the House of Commons this morning. Meat and milk producers are particularly affected. It was stated at the meeting tbat New Zealand butter was selling in Britain at 7d while tbe price in New Zealand was ls 3d. Major Elliott admitted that the wholesale price of beef was still far below a remunerative level but he said that he hoped shortly to arrive at a new voluntary arrangement which would ease the position. The meeting appointed a committee to report on meat iniports.
