Shark Circles Fishing Boat

|Wfhile fishing off the seafront in a boat on Saturday about a couple of miles from the shore, some New Plymouth fishermen were approached by a shark of considerable size (says the Herald). One of the nien was holding a line over the side of the boat when the big fish came ri'ght ©.longside, and it was so close to the surface that it was believed it could have been touched with the hand. It was almost the length of the 14th' boat. It circled round the how of the boat and went down the other side, when a jab on the nose from the oar by one of the men sent it about other business, to the satisfaction of th'ose in thet boat.
