FOR GREASY MERINO Sydney, Dec. 12. At the wool saies, greasy merino to-day made an Australian record of 37 id for seven bales from Barraba which is one of the best wool growing districts in New Soutb Wales. Lambs' wool also made a record of 28 |d. The market was extremely animated with a very keen demand for all best deseriptions, showing an advance of 5 per cent. compared with the previous day. In all, 13,198 bales were offered and 12,645 sold also 695 disposed of privately.
