SERVED THEM RIGHT
SOME YARIED OPINIONS (Rec. 10.5 p.m.) Sydney, Dec. 12. Marylehone's cable had a mixed reception here and in other States. The consensus of opinion in S'ydney is that the board got what is deserved but some prominent cricketers and officials in Melbourne still regard the position as unsatisfactory. The view is expressed that the M.C.C. cable is ambiguous. At least two Victorian members of the board and two Queensland members are of the opinion that another meeting of the board is necessary. Mr. R. Oxlade, chairman of the board, stated to-day that the Marylebone club's cable is being cir-i culated among iftembers of the board for their opinions. He hoped that nof further meeting of the- board would be demanded.
