GUN PRACTICE IN TOWN
iSir, — 'One wonders '\vhy the military authorities permit gun practice in th'e centre of the town when they
have a splendid range so handy. ■Surely they could have some consideration for residents in this matter. Not only is it very trying to the nerves of some people, but there is an element of danger, for on Saturday afternoon a serious accident with a horse and cart was very narrowly averted.— JI am, etc., W. ROBINSON. Rotorua, Nov. 27.
