BAY ASSOCIATION
GENERAL BUSINESS A committee meeting of the Bay of Plenty Cricket Associat.on was also held in Mr. Musgrave's rooms on Monday night when cone: ondence Lrom the Auckland Oricktt Association relating to a Country Wleek at Eden Park from December 15 to 29, and a Town v. Country match on December 15 and 16 was received. The secretary was instructed to forward a. copy of the correspondence to the Bay of Plenty snb associa- , tion at Whakatane for its perusal, and j ith-e question of Rotorua's a'ttitude was referred to the Rotorua Cricket Association. Gresham, the association's delegate to the N w Zea.and • Cricket Council's Conference and an- j ual meeting held recently in Christ- j church, reported on questions dis- j eussed there and express d the opin- j ion that it was of undoubted benefit ; to minor associations that they should j be represented at these conferences, I as rnany matters were thrashed out j which in the future would be of j ■great advantage to cricket throughout the country.
