NECESSITY FOR DIVISION IN TAKAPUNA PLATE MAY DISAPPEAR

— By Telegrapli — Copyrlglit).

Auckland, Tuesday._ It is considered practieally certain, that the necessity for divisions in the Takapuna Plate will be obviated. In addition to Grand Sport and Queen Nona, who were withdrawn on Monday, Brown Lap was scratched at 3.45 p.m. to-day and Limbohm at 4.35 p.m. This brings the numher -of horses remaining to 27. There is reason to expect that at least four more withdrawals will' be made tbus reducing tbe field to the saf ety limit of 23.
