THE IIUSBAND CONFESSES Chicago, Nov. 25. The Winekop case took an extraordinary turn to-day when Earle Winekop, the husband of the murdered woman, completely repudiated his mother's confession and insisted that , he alone had eommitted the murder. f He was removed to gaol and charged with the murder. Police officers are of the opinion that this situation is the result of unusual affection between mother and son; the officers have great difficulty in discerning which is telling* the truth.
