An enjoyable concluding function followmg' a successful initial season took place in the tearooms in the Government Gardens on Wednesday evening, when the Motutara Golf Cluh held a dance at which trophies won during the season's competitions were presented by the wife of the president, Mrs. C. R. Tapper. There was a large attendance of members and their friends presenit, and with the provision of a, tasty supper, all thoroughly enjoyed the evening, which fittingly marked the end of the club's first year of formation.
