New York, Nov. 15. Persistent rumours that Australia is to nndertake the conversion. of dollar bonds into sterling have had a distqrbing effect on their market and Commonwealth, State and municipality issues were down 12! points today after several days weakness. Although the present high' quotations of the p'ound against the dollar .-would make sterling honds aittractive, the piass of the holders prefer dollar securities and are selling.
