-By Telegraph — Copyrlght).
Rec. Nov. 14, 2.30 p.m. London, NoV. 13. Japanese designs on Australia are entirely confined to every possible increase in reciprocal trade, declared Admiral Okada, Minister for Marine who is now in London. He explained that Japan did not desire to transfer her wool buying to South Africa and South America. Too mucn importance should not be attached to reports in this direction. He added: "We have been good customers of Australian wool-growers, and hope to be better in future, because Japanese wool cnsumption is steadily increasing, but there cannot be buying witbout selling."
