The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report on their Ngaruawahia stock sale held on Friday as follows: — The yarding of fat cattle was mostly comprised of second quality stock, and generally late rates were secured. The rest of the entry, which was made up of several pens of yearling heifers, a number of grade bulls and a small entry of second quality dairy cattle was only in fair demand. We quote: — • Light fat cows, £2 10s to £3; forward fat cows, £1 15s to £2 7s 6d; good stores, £1 ls to £1 12s; others up to £1 ; grade bulls, up to £5 ; plain dairy cows and heifers, £3 15s to £5 5s.
