resolution of protest by wellington meeting

Wellington, Monday A public meeting to protest against the Reserve Bank Bill filled the Town Hall to-day. The audience, with few exceptions, showed itself opposed to the Government proposals. Two persistent interjectors were removed. The speakers were Messrs Stronach' Paterson, A. R. Atkinson, h. c. Jenkins and R. A. Wright, M.P. A resolution of protest was carried hy a large majority. The chairman, Mr. A. de B. Brandon, refused to allow an amendment to he moved.
