London, October 29 Despite offieial disclaimers the newspapers continue to forecast big expenditure on defenee. The Sunday Chronicle declares that the Air Force is building over 100 fighting planes equipped with machine iguns and a squadron of giant fly-ing-boats. The Navy is contemplating for its 1934 programme 30 vessels, comprising six cruisers, two flotilla leaders, sixteen destroyers and six submarines.
