PORT WATCHMAN KILLED

TWO FISHERMEN CHARGED Oars are alleged to have been used by two fishermen when Sebastian Serralta, a watchman of the port of Barcelona, Spain, was recently beaten to death after he had ftred at four men rowing in a boat, killing one and wounding another. The boat was at a forbidden spot at the mouth of the River Llobregat, near Barcel•'ona, and when the watchman challenged the fishermen it is alleged . that they refused to allow him to inspect their boat. The watchman then fired into the sea to scare the men, and, after being abused by them, ■'fired at them. It is alleged that the remaining two fishermen then attacked the watchman with oars, beating him to death. They were eventually arrested and charged with the murder of the watchman.
